One of my Dutch pullets has started to lay. For the last 5 days she has laid one of these :roll:
I cracked one open and there is no yoke. Her sister is laying normal eggs.

Is this likely to continue or is she just practising

Havent got any scales to weigh them but they are about the size of a grape :!:
She laid another one this morning so I think I have a duff hen. Never mind she is lovely anyway.

Hens often lay one or two like this when coming into lay but I have to agree with you here; she's beginning to look like a duff egg layer.
