Read 2 different things on potting on Caulis.........

1. never replant any deeper than they are in the seed tray/pot

2. Plant up to the seed leaves

Which is correct ?

I always plant deeper than in the seed tray/pot to give the stem more support. Who's to say whether it's right or wrong?

This means when you sow the seed you need to cover it to the depth of the seed itself, and when you plant a cauli it goes in to the first leaves.

As much as it grieves me - I thought that was very funny - I completely agree, one of those - plenty of - plants that will grow extra roots from the stalk.
