After only 2 months wait we have a plot! We also have a lovely assortment of old shoes, Drinks cans mounted on canes,  brambles, dandelion, couch etc that we are willing to let go free to a good home.  

Lots of work ahead, but I can't wait!


By the way what are the drinks cans for?

Which site are you on in lovely E17?
I had what seemed to be an entire chipboard kitchen rotting away on my plot when I got it - took ages to drag it all down to the skip. Drinks cans may be a bit easier.

Haha, yeah, I guess we're lucky then!

The plot's on the higham Hill Common site, everyone there seems really friendly, especially Tilly the squirrel who we met in the site shop yesterday.

I'm at Markhouse Common, off Queens Road. Unbelievably mixed bunch of people. Everyone is pretty friendly - one of the old fellas came to offer to help fix my greenhouse today. Most people help eachother - and then moan a lot. I think that's a characteristic of old blokes in general, whatever their nationality.
