Hanging Perch

Whilst scraping the "fertilizer" off my perch legs this afternoon I mused over hanging it from the roof.  Ideally suspended with string so I can just fold it out of the way when its cleaning time.

My concern was it would be rather like a swing - would my naughty little minx of a white star swing on it causing problems for other roosting birds. Anyone been here, done that?
