Campbells of all colours are pretty much the same so you do have the choice of khaki, white and dark. The other option is Welsh Harlequins. They were initially developed as a colour variation of Campbells and good strains lay as well as good Campbell strains. The advantage is that they are apparently much more placid and chilled out than Campbells and I know a couple of us on here (well Catii and me) have found out how nervy Campbells can be. Much as I love my girls think in the future would look at Welsh Harlequins (and they're so pretty too  )
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Dunno! Seen some on ebay over the spring and summer but betting that you will have to wait till next year now. There's a bloke near Oswestry who breeds them. Don't know if he does hatching eggs but bet he does day olds as I know he does older ones.

Was going to get some from him but was a girl and wanted blue eggs so got the dark Campbells

If you wait till Spring NP I'll gladly send you my first batch of Runner eggs, they're un-related 1 Drake to 4 Ducks.
That way it'll give you plenty of time to get the run ready :D

Runners lay approx 295 eggs per year and they are Blue eggs :D

If you can concentrate on your run, then we can advise on any water setup and you can get some eggs from Vember when the worst of the weather's gone.

How big is your new run going to be ?

At least housing requirements are simpler for ducks. :)

Well done mate, you'll get them eventually.

Sounds like Vember might be your best bet. At least you'll know where they've come from and you'll get plenty of free advice too.

Unless you want something particular ? If you're really lucky (and it might cost you a small fortune) you could be on the list for Titch/Patrick offspring. The posh and becks of the duck world

But they'd obviously need a penthouse with jacuzzi.

You are welcome to some of mine too (if they ever start laying again  ) although I'm a little nervous offering them again after none of them hatched for you last time and I feel really bad about that :(

Admittedly they with also be a bit of a mongrel brood well hybrid (sounds much better doesn't it)
