Is the Hen coming into lay NP or has she started laying?

Bodger will know more but my sussex cock had a lovely temperment :?

Could it just be that he's been frightened by something or someone??

Hope you get it sorted :)

There have been a few posts about this sort of behaviour in the past NP it seems the consensus is to give him a hug and it will make him feel better

         No really thats what they will say

I have a nice scar on my leg from my now deceased cockerel their spurs are sharp when they catch you

Is he being protective of his conjugal rights ??

He might see you as a threat ??

No idea why he's attacking the hen though.

Muntjac says get a  2ft square board (lightweight) and put a handle on it...if he comes towards you then push him away and let him know that you mean it!!! Failing that arm yourself with a water squirty thing and just bombard him with water....they don't like it!! Failing that.....eat him!!!!!
