Two Cobs of Sugar
« on: August 27, 2008, 19:49 »
I picked two of my sweetcorn cobs today and twenty minutes after picking they were in the pan being boiled for lunch. Wow, never had sweetcorn that tasty and sweet. It was like eating sugar.

Then for tea had Broad and Runners Beans with Valor spuds (mashed) and a leg of Roast Chicken. All apart from the Chick off the plot.
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.

I've been eating my corn raw.

It's more like a drink than food.

Save the walk to the kitchen. Wrap in very well buttered foil, and bung on the barbie. Deeeeeeelicious :)
