2 runner bean questions
« on: August 18, 2008, 10:58 »
1.  Can I thin out some of the foliage which is very dense ?

2.   I marked some beans for next year, do I leave them on until the beans are cleared out ?

Thanks,  Mrs Bouquet

I'd not remove any leaves they are the plants power house

2) if saving seed you usually leave the beans on the plant as long as you can, remove before the 1st frost.
