WR1 and local people to Llanelli. I have confirmed suspicions that buffy is in fact a cock.. thanks to 'him' crowing away this morning - good n' proper.

As in built up area.. she/he has to go..

I've put him on freecycle for free to good home and wanted to post here.. PLEASE if you can re-home today please do so..
he won't be here tomorrow.

I can't drive the 4 hours to take him back home....  :? Guess my travel to get cheap chickens really was a money wasting exercise. It's already cost me over £50.

found a home! :D
Phoned my local feed store than i'm a regular at.. they said they'd put him in the pens out front and find him somewhere.. got there and there was a couple buying chicken feed.. you guessed it! :) They ahve a farm up the road and when the wife asked what he was she was like 'oooooh' when she saw him and we spoke. So.. he never made it to the pens, he's now up the road running around with 2 buff girlfriends and 15 yes 15 other cocks.. she's re-homing some of them but vets homes first and said she wouldn't re-home him as she wants him for her girls. ;)
So happy he's got somewhere nice, but must admit theres a part of me that will miss him/her. and now i'm down to one laying hen, 1 silkie and her chicks.. not that thats bad, but you know what i mean.

Hubby has agreed when the feedstore get more chooks in we can get a couple of POL's though.. as they'll take them back if cocks.  and no horrendous mileage involved.

Greenaways near pembrey :)
If you are looking for certain chooks they may be able to help ... said they could order them in for me some time ago. :) they've none at the moment but not sure if that's due to money though as all theirs are the same price (£15).

No.. none of anything at the moment but if you call them they may be able to help you never know! :)

have you checked out the breeders on the list linked to in here? there was one about 50 miles away had some pure breeds but not sure what now. might be worth ringing around. :)
