FREEZING CABBAGE

:D Hi All,
              I have a large amount of cabbages all coming in at once. Is it ok to freeze them?.     Michael D

Hi there are you the michael d, as in Douglas.  Yes you can freeze cabbage.  Wash thoroughly, chop and blanch for 1.1/2mins and cool immediately in ice cold water.  Then pack.  Its freezer life is 6 months.  Good Luck.  Mrs Bouquet
