Me strawberries..........Elsanta, which are in long troughs won't stop chucking out runners.  Is that normal.  Fed them, when finished fruiting.  Haven't really got room for them all.  Seems a shame to just chop the runners off.

Yeah I know answered my own question, the only option is chop runners off and throw away.  I haven't got any friends so no one to give to. :cry: haha except family work mates of OH and neighbours.

Aww.. time to make friends! or at least join your local freecycle and put them on there.. potted and ready to go you'll save people money!

Or.. you could find some room somewhere..

Mine are throwing runners still now and my 2 plants are now 9 plants with another 2 or 3 runners just waiting to grow long enough to reach pots! lol

Yeah they are lishous,lush and all good things.  Had so many this year of about 25 plants that I htink what they say about it being a good anti inflammatory is correct.  Arthur rightous got much better during the picking and stuffing ones face.
