Cornish / Buckeye crosses

Hi guys, I got my 1st cockerel last night, I settled on an American Buckeye.
I really like his plumage, and the fact that he is non too common is a bonus, plus from what I understand he is of a type that might be interesting to cross?
Hopefully he'll do the business with my Cornish game hens (pics of all of them on Monday).
How impressed was I?! he settled straight in, no messing around, strutting his stuff and generally looking cool - the ladies seemed quite impressed!

Does anyone have any experience of crossing Buckeyes?, im hoping for reasonably large dual purpose birds, with maybe 120+ eggs per year?  obviously im taking a bit of a leap of faith with getting him, as I haven't seen much info about Buckeyes anywhere - except brief descriptions.

Any advice, thoughts, relating of experiences gratefully received!
