Wow well done Belinda's OH :D

I would ask for a photo as soon as you get home, but I would imagine you'll spent all day / evening in the garden with your hens

Good luck!

Hope they bond to you soon (the tip is bribe them, constantly). Already looking forward to hearing you're settling in. What breed/types are you getting?

Looking forward to the pics of your new girls.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

I am not too sure. They will definately be bantams. I think Pekins but she has some wyandotte bantams as well. I am not really sure what they are like so will decide tomorrow  :D

Ooh, be careful you don't come back with more than you bargained for. I went for two black rock hybrids and a ISA brown and ended up with a amberlink instead of the second black rock.

I said exactly the same...I've already come round to thinking 4 is a better number than 3

I know its very tempting but they will not be allowed to free range all the time as I have a greyhound and whippet so don't want them to be too cramped. Hoping already to expand next year haven't told the OH yet though :D

I'm looking forward to seeing piccies of what breed you decided on. Ooh, you will become addicted, talking to them, watching them, talking about them.  Great stuf.

I have two Lavender Pekins 10 weeks old and a Partridge Pekin 8 weeks old. They all seem ok and have settled in well. I had to help them out the house today and put them back in tonight but they are quite small and tame so that was quite easy. Will post some pictures tomorrow :)

Some pictures of my Pekins I haven't named them yet as can't decide what to call them. I thought I would see how their characters develop.

Love the lavender ones. Keep thinking my next duck will be a lavender one (although Buff Orpingtons are so pretty, and Welsh Harlequins, and then there's geese.....)

It's a disease....
