Hi all, Does anyone know where you can buy apple cider vinegar in Co Durham. Tried looking on the web but costs for delivery are as much as the vinegar.
Cheers
PS small chicken appears to be OK tonight.
Geoff :)

Try any feed merchant, large independent feed place.   If you know any one with a horse they should be able to point you in the right direction.

The refined stuff in the supermarkets isn't the right kind. There's been threads about it before and I can't remember what ingredient it needs but the shop bought stuff doesn't contain it.

I'll do a quick search and see if I can find it.

Does anybody know how much you use for chickens please. I got mine from the Flyte so fancy but it doesn't say how much for chickens only ponies and horses.

It's tannin that it needs. The refined stuff doesn't have it.

And it's 1/2 teaspoon/pint.

I've never tried any though it's on my list of 'must gets'.

Next time I go to the feed store I'll get a bottle. Silly to wait til they get something wrong.

If it's anything like this house we always say we'll get it and Bang it's needed and it's a mad rush to find a stockist

Happens all the time

Having said that there is the other end of the scale the, I'll get that it might come in useful... 3 years later you find it at the back of the cupboard

Oh what a joy life is
