Sorry I didn't get back last night but I ended picking redcurrants and spending 2 hours taking them off the stalks - still loads more to pick. Anyway I've got rid of the sticky fingers for now.

Yes the babies are 1 cuckoo maran 3 laced barnevelders and 3 hybrids, I'm still waiting to work out which are girls and which are boys. I've always thought that the cuckoo maran would be a boy, it just has "attitude" that makes it seem male. (having 2 sons I think I recognise the signs   )
