I've noticed that some of the onions in the raised bed have got white rot at the base.  A lot of them were really knocked about by the wind a couple of weeks ago.  

Should I lift the lot and separate them good from bad?  Should I also avoid onions in this bed for quite a long time now?   Any advice gratefully received.  :batman:

If it is white rot, you're stuffed for growing for quite a while.

Sorry to John too   :oops:  :oops:   just re-read the appropriate page in your book.  Going to get them all out right now and won't use that bed again for quite some time.  

It might have already been insitu as it's the first time for onion's in that bed since I've been there.  It's all part of the learning and getting to know your plot I guess :batman:
