ive seen some cooks on tele cooking ruhbarb without peeling it is this ok /my gran allways said it should be peeled before cooking ?

It does'nt need to be peeled......it's just a preference

Never heard of peeling rhubarb either but then again if theres an easy way to do things that usually the route I go.

I find if its not too woody even in Spetember and if it starts to peel then I do peel otherwise no I dont bother cos its all fibre at the end of the day. Sparky.
