This chicken keeping is testing my constitution to the limit.

When picking up birds I had to resist spewing due to smell.

My allotment 'mate' showed me a wrinkly egg from an old hen, that made me feel queazy.

Grannies 'internal eggs' were not amazing for me but stomach churning.

Was thinking of getting a few 'meat birds' to fatten up. Not sure I'm up to it now though...

the others aren't too bad though are they  :D  The chooks don't stink though. Mind you I did put some louse powder in their dust bath and that smells lovely - it's tea tree and lavender  :D

You need to spend a few months changing nappies. You'll never worry again !!  :D

The worst smell I remember is when I was a kid and we visited a dairy farm with the scouts. The overpowering smell of fresh manure was more than I could take.

There aren't many sights or smells that phase me much now.

This post has worried me all day as I had no idea what "grannies internal eggs" were.
I was so relieved when, this evening, I found the relevant post further down.

Have to second TMG on that :D
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.
