What do you mean Eeeewww Babe?  Them's only little eggies!!!

And I think you may notice if your boiled eggs were a bit small!!!!

Mind you, one of the meat chickens had started to lay, so she was an early bird!!!  and her eggs were tiny, but the one I opened the other day although tiny was a double yolker!!!!

im sorry, but each time i look at the picture...i just think haemeroids

it is great to learn this stuff..... just wish my brain could keep on track and not wander off on its own tangent

Wrong colour Babe???????

And I know what you mean about the brain.  Mine has been off tangent for years!!!!

Awww, siamese twins!!!!! almost!  Never had 2 stuck together like that roughlee, but I wonder if the shell thingy had separated, would she have laid the 2 eggs, or would the smaller one have stayed inside and been laid tomorrow!

These soft shells are a puzzle, you do everything you can, but it still happens!!

She did not lay yesterday or the day before.  Not overly worried as she is happy in her self. I think.

We've just had a soft egg this morning. No idea which one laid it but you wrack your brains to figure out where you went wrong and, as Annie says, they just happen.

So . . . looking at that then, the chicken comes before the egg ?
Oh for those halcyon days of England long ago

I'm almost disappointed that the chicken/egg question has been answered and it was the egg that came first....
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.
