i've decided to enter the local show this year - so long as i have some decent stuff to enter by the 21st august which is the entry form deadline other wise it will just be the cakes, photos and crafts!

on my list are beetroot, cherry toms, maybe onions, carrots,  maybe a fennel under "any other veg"

the any other veg doesn't list a quantity so i'm presuming just the one?

i know from last year they all need to be similar size and shape, presented nicely on a plate - but any other top tips?

while we at it any one entered the baking sections too? any tips there? other than make sure it's edible?

Make sure they are

according to schedule right number labled as required etc
clean
prepared as allowed loose bits removed tied up necks on onions


and remember have fun

Its our show on Saturday, think it may be rained off!!!! :cry:  :cry:
Only entering Peas, Eggs, Jam, & a Cactus this year though.  Got a second for my lettuces last year but due to hols they are late this year & not ready!! Could of entered a picture named 'In the rain' but entry date has gone :x
Nothing else looks good enough, I only enter for fun, but boy are they serious!!!
