Green fly on Aubergines

Why are they so badly affected. This year i have several plants, and it's started. They just seem to love them. What can i do they are just beginning to flower.

Well, they all start on the aub, in my gh experience. So make it a first port of call to check them out and squash or blast off as needed when there are just a few.
