Vember with a house and garden like yours, i wouldn't either. It looks too much fun to live where you are.

Love to have a house & garden like yours!

I use a service like this when I am desperate -they have my key so I can just give them a call they are very good and just gives me peace of mind as I have rather a lot of birds and cats.

I had a holiday several years ago but OH hasn't been for ages. Again, we prefer to stay where we are. Once the animals have gone, we can do a few SAGA coach trips tucked up under a blanket.  :)

Whereabouts are you R66VEY ?

We should organise 'house swap' holidays on here - people live in really different places etc. I did one to canada years ago and we swapped houses and even cats! There is definately a gap in the market for such holidays for people with lots of animals that need looking after! I would certainly be up for it - if anyone fancies staying in our tiny little warwickshire cottage??!!

Love the house swap idea! Lots in my family have done it before.  We pick up our girls on Friday (soooo excited), and assume we will never go on holiday again!

If you were about 15 miles or so closer, I'd offer to come over but it's quite a drive twice a day.

Hope you can find someone willing.

Have you had any luck yet?
When we went for a few days my neighbour very kindly fed & watered everyday & collected the eggs..........I left the coop open (& kept my fingers crossed) so they didn't have to go early in the morning.  They were perfectly ok but there is always the worry of a night visitor.  I also made sure it was 99% foxproof.   Its an option if you didn't want to ask someone to go twice a day.
