Funny Purple Creatures on my Brassica's

Most of my brassica's (Broccoli especially) have got these little purple things on the leaves.

you either have to tear off the infected leaf parts, import a load of ladybirds to eat them , or spray them with pyrethrum. If the plants have finished cropping, pull them up and destroy them to stop them overwintering.

I had them on the Brussels Sprouts this year and did one of the above, not saying which :oops:
