Can chickweed have orange flowers? I have found a weed growing on my drive that I thought was chickweed but it has now developed orange flowers.







Took photos but flowers have closed now sun gone in,but just like white chickweed

I don't know what it is, Jen, but not chickweed.

need to know what the seedlings look like to identify it.

What shape are the cotyledon?
How many - 1  2 or 4 cotyledon ?
First true leaves - shape, size, colour, number

Based on the photos, it COULD be Scarlet Pimpernel (anagallis arvensis)

The Scarlet Pimpernel, very pretty, goes well with the blue of the speedwell

yep that is definitely scarlet pimpernel

I've noticed this plant recently, while weeding, on the plot. Wondered what it was. The flowers (before they open out)look like tiny tiny roses, really beautiful, and the colour is gorgeous! BUT..... it was growing in among my onions, so out it came!
