They look great Sharon, It's really good to see how everyone else is doing around the country. Iv'e got the first sowings of my 'Scarlet Emperor' up to the top of the canes, but the Cobra's down the lottie (sown exactly the same time) are still trying there best to climb the 'munty' frame??? It's all a mystery to me!!!!

Wow excellent looking beans - ours have been in the ground now (brought on in pots) for the last 4 when they first went in they did nothing - however they are really starting to run now.  Gave them a good feed of horsemanure - hoping to see some flowers soon.

One of our very favourite veg so we have 2 large wigwams (planted at separate times) - 18 plants on each - hoping for a good crops

I grow Brightstone Beans.  The story is that ship shipwrecked itself at Brightstone in West Wight in the 1800's and had a cargo of beans for Spain on board.  The locals looted the ship and carried off the beans.  They are purple until cooked.  I save seeds each year to carry on the traditionl

My runners have finally started to run! Also my french beans and borlotti beans, which took a bit of a bashing in strong wind/rain a couple of nights after they were planted out, seem to have recovered and are now looking a lot better. Yay!

My site is really windy most of the time and less than a half mile from the sea.  In theory my beans should not be doing so well.
I picked a load more today for freezing.
