Just an update - Coup and run have been sprayed with Antimite spray daily.  The coup has been jet washed and drayed twice.  I have put 2 applications of poultry shield on at each jet wash.

We've also timber treated it whole lot with (poultry safe) treatment.  It looks great.  Nice clean, safe and pratical.  Dh has got the building bug and wants to make some external nest boxes for it too.  I said lets get the chooks in first as 4 birds in a 6-8 bird house is going to be mighty roomy and they have good ones in there anyway.

So far no returning critters.  Going to leave  chemical warfare a fews days as it is supposed to stay nice for a while, but check again daily to see if any eggs have hatched and apply if do.

I'd hate to have done this with the chickens at home.

Hopefully chemical warfare has and will keep them at bay!

Can't wait till Saturday!

My husband wants to call the chickens Balti, Korma, Madras and Jalfrezi!  He's even got my 2 year old son naming the chickens and DS has no idea what those words are!  Can't you believe men sometimes? He won't eat them and I knows he's picking fun, but....  sometimes.....

I was waiting to see our 4 birds and then decide what they would be called as I'd hope their characters would tell me.

I'm not keen on calling them names of curry because heaven forbid we did have to eat one I wouldn't want to curry the poor thing! :shock:
