At last, we have reached the one year stage. It's been hard work and we still have to finish preparing part of the plot, but here is a picture of the plot one year ago and how it looks now.

All weeds, brambles, burnt out buildings and rubbish that filled 3 large skips.

Stuff growing! We ate the first potatoes today.
Lynne.

So much to do, but so little time.

Thats fantastic, you've done some hard graft there!

The thought of taking on an overgrown patch like that fills me with dread.

I've only been growing for a couple of weeks, have 2 beds, and i know the hard work that went into that.Maybe in a couple of years i'll have enough courage to get a lottie.

Well done.  It looks great!

I guess it might seem scary, but remember you don't have to do it all in one go... just chop the top off half of it and cover that with cardboard and leave it for a year.

Do the rest slowly, bit by bit.  It's very satisfying and that's the way it's meant to be.... hard work is good for you....!
