not sure what to make of his style to be honest :?  they are different to say the least, it looks like he could have learnt to paint in jail (not saying he has been in jail) just that is my perception of his work.  These are not negative comments, :wink:  sitting on the fence  :D

Try and see the programme on iplayer if you can. He came across as a really nice person (not an ex-con!) and because there is a long waiting list at his local  allotments he is now an 'allotment helper' assisting an old timer plot holder who now needs a hand with his plot. Fair exchange for physical labour is that he can learn from all the years of growing wisdom. Bit like an allotment apprentice.  Brilliant idea I wonder if other allotments have schemes like that.
