Hi, last week I asked advise on a turkey we had bought in a bird auction last week. we were very unsure of how he would turn out!!! - we let him out of his quarantine area yesturday and he has been nothing but a joy to have , he follows by hubby around like a dog and when we had a picnic in the garden today he just stood there looking at us eat and would not leave our side  

thank you for all advise given - we think he will be fine as a pet

no, most of my birds have no names as such, they are usually called daddy goose, mother goose, daddy peacock etc etc :oops: .  when my 3 year old daughter first saw the turkey whe said wow daddy bird, so i guess he's called daddy bird :oops:  :oops:

sorry i should read before i submit post :oops:  Turkey was following hubby around like dog!    I think hubby is quite smitten with him as well - best of friends
