Know this will seem like thinking a long time ahead but if I don't ask now I will forget. I was wondering if there is a good green manure I can plant on my veg patch once I have harvested all I want that the girls will also enjoy as there is less greenery about for them to munch?

plant loads perpeppeppe .long lasting spinach .i used to grow a bed 20 yrds long or by some feet wide to see me through. if you have only a few chucks just a 4 sq yard bit will do  feed every other day
