Is therea general rule about how soon after flowering can you harvest spuds :?:
Or should I just feel around and pick some new potatoes if they feel big enough :?:

hi , we allways wait until the spuds have finished flowering and have started to wilt and die , dig them up and leave thjem to dry outside for 2-3 hours , place the spuds in a PAPER SACK and place in dark cool room , we put ours in the garage,

You can't call those new potatoes, Peter, surely, anyhow, out of ground, into pan as fast as can be, me and I don't wait for them necessarily to finish flowering, earlies are ther to be an early joy. :D
