No sooner said than done !

Well done for using screws. Far stronger and easier to dismantle if needed.

I must admit I'd never have dreamt of giving them a curtain.

Just remember that they prefer matching rather than contrasting scatter cushions, but the tie backs could be a contrasting floral or stripey print ...
Nobody said this was going to be easy ... but some days are better than others!

That's just ridiculous.

Purple velvet is so unfashionable.  :?

There's another Welsh word learnt.  :D

I'd love to learn but wouldn't be a lot of use round here and I don't know if I could stomach all those verb endings and things now.  :?

You can write it Rob! ;)

I am just completing a year of Welsh now, but have no one other than my hubby to practise with. Am in a Welsh choir so get practise that way, but it's easier to sing than talk it if you ask me!! not that i can understand what i'm singing!

I thought singing was the secret. Imagine yourself as a 5th century bard telling tales. To me, it seems like it reaches back into the past more than English does. There's no real knowing how it connects to the language the Celts or their predecessors spoke.
Sorry, getting a bit anal now.     But I would love to learn it. That and old English, which is a bit more tricky to find a conversation in !
