Cast your eyes over this for me please ebay I'm thinking of getting one for my girls as they need an awful lot of water in the summer and I'm always worried in case they run out while I'm at work etc.

Not sure to try them to be honest I've asked him how many birds one would be suitable for, but he's not come back to me  :(

I quite like the look of this one on here for £7.99 but the postage is a bit steep ( or am I being tight   )

Well I bought one the seller reckons they will cope with up to nine birds suppose it depends on breed etc.

Anyway I've had it up and running for a few days now it was quite easy to install hardest part was finding a suitable container for the water I used a 3 litre robinsons squash bottle in the end. Drilled a hole in the bottom and pulled the vale through, the birds seem to have got the hang of it fine it. It tops itself up, as the bird drinks they knock a little sprung valve that releases the water. The water container does need to be higher than the drinker tho.

Very easy to clean I just tip it up at the end of the day and any dirt runs out.

You do need to be able to fasten it to something but it has cut out hoes etc for screws and a hole if you want to mount it using thick wire or similar, keeps the water nice and clean, rather than them pooing in the bowl and some one else coming along for a drink
