Hi,

I am new to both forums and gardening.  I took over an allotment towards the end of February.  I left my potatoes outside the other day and they have gotten wet.  Are these now going to be rotten?  Or will they still be ok to plant?  I chitted them and everything!!!!!!

I'd really appreciate any advice I can get.

Your potatoes should be fine, Mine were chitting in the greenhouse and condensation was dripping on them, they got soaked. Dried them off and planted, saw my first shoot above ground today so they obviously didn't mind.

Yes they'll be fine, I'm sure they'll see worse than one bit of rain!
