The joy of compost

I never used to bother then I managed to get two 1000 litre enormous planters,the sort of thing you see in Airports and Shopping centres with mature trees growing in 'em.

They're brilliant as they're that big you can  stand in 'em and turn it over.

When I think of how much plant matter I used to throw away it boggles my mind.

Now I probably get around 500 litres of compost every year just from my small plot and I used to just chuck the discarded veg bits in the bin.

What an idiot I was .... :oops:
