Happiest in the countryside.
Breathe deeply, and let the butterflies fly in formation!

Octagon 20 - 2nd time used and very pleased - as we all do - much research and it kept coming out as the most idiot proof while notthe cheapest - it definitley does what it says on the tin - it incubates eggs.
We had eggs from a friend out here who knows her stuff when it comes to Sasso's and the Maran came from a breeder - have some runner duck eggs coming in May so that will also be a challenge.

Also support and advice from other poultry keepers has been invaluable

I heard good things about the Octagon 20 - might consider buying one next year. Love marans have a copper blue chick hatched 2 weeks ago and runners are fab -have 4 under a broody - thats a first have no idea about ducks so hopefully will know enough in 4 weeks! I know I can rely on the henhouse for ducky questions though

no but do have 40 cou nou Noir only a week old - silly looking birds but they taste good and for french birds get to a reasonable size.
