Manure - How Long?

Today I pinched some more horse poo from the field and plan to rotovate it into my little patch before planting anything out. I've weeded by hand, so all ready to go.
Can someone advise please, how long after manuring the soil before it's safe to plant in? The poo is "freshly laid", so to speak.
Or would it be best to rot it down first and then rotovate it in? I don't expect to plant out for several weeks, so there isn't any rush.

(oh BTW, there's no straw/bedding in it - just poo)

chuck it on the surface of ur plot n leave it to weather till ya ready to plant n rotavate it in

, we shold bhe geting 5 ton or so of 2 yr old stuff today or the morrows
