The recent thread about asparagus peas made me wonder if they are the same stuff as asparagus kale? My Mother in law (amazing gardener) gave  me a packet of seeds last july, but def asparagus kale not peas. They are now about 10" high. anyone else grown these?

No, the other one is a bean, this is a brassica, goes by many names, sold most commonly as Russian Kale, I think they are the same. Pretty, tasty things, but once it gets warm they are quick to run to seed.
