:? I arrived hoome tonight to find the veggy patch bathed in lovely sunshine.
(albeit, with howling wind) lol. anyway, I would just like to confess the fact that I had to plant something!
Just one row of Spring onions, and one of Radishes... Is it too early???
Life begins... On the kitchen windowsill.

Not for them two, really, but don't underestimate the winds though, a bit of protection would make a world of difference.

By the by it seems to stay miserable for a long while, hope they are wrong.

Shallots, radishes, parsnips can all go in. I've got a few trays of lettuces and cabbage in my plastic greenhouses and cold frame, and I've bunged in some onion sets.
That is in costa del Walthamstow
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Sounds good. Just have some fleece at the ready if there's a frost forecast.

Please do make sure it is well protected during a frost otherwise you'll find the leaves get easily damaged and look like they have some dire disease when they are fully developed!
