Poor little Debbie Harry

is very very poorly. Have given antibiotics (by injection??eooo) for the last 2 days. She really isn't very well. No really big signs for diagnosis just very very quiet and almost off feet tonight. Have given lots of Reiki and water with sugar but she doesn't look good at all
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!!

You're not on line so I'll guess at your reply and post this anyway.

There is a condition which some chickens get where they become very weak and can't walk well sometimes staggering or falling over.  It is caused by calcium deficiency.  Try giving her some limestone flour or if she is not eating well try syringing some live yogurt into her crop as it is rich in calcium.  It's a bit like milk fever in cattle.

Thanks all but twas not to be. I managed to get some fluids into her last night but this all happened so quickly. She looked like a perfectly normal little chooky but was just very quiet. I checked her over more than once but there was no visible signs of anything, Toyah has been sneezing and is a bit wheezy so I am treating her for a cold but she is eating and drinking and acting normal thank goodness.
Fortunately, on the upside, my little hand reared silkie chickies are a couple of weeks old now and (touch wood) doing really well.
