Help can anyone give me some chook advise

We got 3 lovely girls about 3weeks ago Babbs has had to be bathed a few times due to getting dirt including poo in the creases of her wings and is matting too Does anyone have any ideas Please???

is she roosting on the perches or being pooed from above?? Is this one of your new girls? New girls can take a while to roost on perches and the dominant hens will occupy the highest perch too.

:? Doesnt seem to have very soft poo but sometimes is mucky round her back end again all others are fine and shes got no perches above her they're all on one level.And its gathering where her wings meet her body top side god knows how its getting ther

This makes me laugh as my Silkie sits on a bit of beam with her head touching the roof and she is the smallest hen I have maybe its her way to feel like she is top dog (whoops Hen) :oops: I know for sure she has the most attitude

Shes dust bathing in mud normally we've setup sand bath today and mite dusted so fingers crossed poo seems to have not returned since latest bath but we've still got matted feathers up close to her wings

Think we are over the worst her cold is on way out think matting is where shes been going to sleep with runny nose under her wing. And have spotted 1 of the chucks sitting on her a few times so possibly poo culprit . Shes had a few more baths that she loves and finally looks like a white chuck. I say that an she's mud bathing next to sand bath right now but shes happy,,, Still awaiting eggs from them all watch this space
