Gardeners Daylight Saving Time

OK so I am lucky enough to have a garden and be retired. Daylight is precious for my gardening (and cycling) so why waste any? We have made the decision not to put our clocks back and to stay on Gardeners Daylight Saving Time, GDST  I have set the alarm on my phone to 06:30 Non-GDST and happily drink a coffee in bed as the sun rises ready to fully use the 9 hours and 27 minutes of daylight hours!

I like your reasoning, but do we see many actual sunrises through winter? Unfortunately. It's the lack on sunlight that gives me S.A.D.

At least I wont miss seeing any of the rain today
