Salpiglossis, my favourite.

Good morning Gardeners,  Salpiglossis, I planted the seeds but they didn't grow, so I put them to one side (covered) and forgotten and now they have decided to grow they are about 1 inch tall and very spindly (as they would be).  What to do to recover them? :unsure:

i would try potting them up deep or some deep and some not so to compare  good luck.
