Butternut Squash Query
« on: May 09, 2023, 16:42 »
A friend gave me a couple of little butternut squash plants (just two leaves apiece) that were surplus to requirement.  They've been in her polytunnel till now.  Would they be OK to go out into a sheltered raised bed, or do I need to nurture them in my greenhouse for a bit longer?

Perhaps ok under a cloche. Obviously depends on when you get your last frost.
See what others are doing locally??
Keep digging

I'd probably keep them under cover to let them get a bit bigger before I risked putting them out.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
