Well following my comment earlier about avoiding roast dinners, we had today roast pork loin slices, roast potatoes & parsnips, steamed cauliflower, carrots & peas, apple sauce, stuffing & gravy  :D
I wasn’t the chef tonight

It was sweet leek carbonara which is a Jamie Oliver one.  Slow cooked shredded leeks with herbs and garlic, the usual egg and cheese sauce, no bacon and a huge pile of spag - heaven  :)
Sounds nice, but feels like a whole lot'a effort - I just poured a jar of red pepper pesto over a pan full of fusilli and then tipped a tin of tuna into it.

I put chorizo and a couple of tins of different beans in the slow cooker mid morning, planning on doing some mash later.

I put some pinto beans, carrots, swede, onion, potato, sad red pepper and mince in the slow-cooker, the bag of mince seemed to have  less than the usual in it  so added some soya mince as well. Couple of oxos and some mixed herbs - sorted!

Beef Rogan Josh, rice, poppadoms and a naan for Paul.  Mango chutney on the side.  We both got the curry munchies this morning and it's been in the slow cooker all day.

Ohh knock us up a traditional bread pudding would you   :tongue2:  I could just eat a slab of a real old fashioned solid one.

I have leftover to use from yesterday.

There should  be some sort game mix on the shopping delivery that I have a planned for a slow cooker stew that's plan A. If it's missing there's a small amount of leftovers I may just put on toast and consider it beans on toast.
