HM sourdough pizza.  I made it Saturday after the dough had been rising overnight and put it into the fridge. It held until this evening and then baked perfectly.

Now there is a good trick to remember  :)

Very poor quality of chicken thighs this week, by the size you'd think they were actually quail. I'll have to shred what little meat there is off them.  The plan for a chicken dinner was ditched and I just spiced up the mince that was left with the half can of baked beans that's always in the fridge and did some oven wedges.

Left-over chicken from last night with creamed leeks and pots.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

The rest of yesterday's chicken casserole reheated with crusty bread to bulk it out.

A shredded chicken dinner - I really should make a pie with it, I like pie, it's pie weather.

Have you been to the real butcher yet? Get your coat on & have a brisk walk & bring back some nice supplies, you’ll be more likely to feel like cooking it too if you’ve paid more for it ;) . Get a bulk of braising steak or mince & make yourself a batch of pies for the freezer…goon you know it makes sense :)

If I CBA to make pastry what on earth makes you think I can be bothered to do that

Joking aside I've found a butcher locally who will deliver and has an online shop, I may take a drive out to get a selection of stuff to try as the one I was using isn't local to me.
