What a miserable day.  Wet and windy, but a touch warmer.  Just glad I haven't had to go outside today.

It started raining heavily about 30mins ago, and now the wind is really thrashing the trees about - the forecast says the worst (40mph!) will be around 9-10pm tonight

It is still windy here, but the worst of the rain has already passed.  It started a lot earlier than forecast here and fingers crossed that ending earlier is also now on the cards.

Same here. An autumn storm, a bit windy and heavy rain at times, but nothing that unusual or dramatic. 

Today has been a mix of brighter weather and some intermittent showers.  A couple have been heavy, but most fairly brief and not that bad.  Everything is very sodden now though.

Well yesterday was not too bad, nothing like I was expecting, but as I sit here in bed the wind is dashing the rain on the windows & has been for a long time. Looks like a day for staying indoors apart from my “chicken runs”

Been raining heavily since midnight - total so far 40mm (more than 1 1/2 inches) to add to the inch or so over the past few days.

If it continues like this all day (as forecast) there may be trouble ahead...

Heavy rain most of the night but it's still 13c and whilst there's a breeze it's nothing major. The stream is a little higher than usual, the ducks appear to be enjoying themselves and nothing appears to be flooded yet,

Sorry to 'p'  you  all off,  but it's lovely and sunny here, 19 degrees and I've taken off taken off my coat and cardigan.
