Had to walk down to the local shop today. My little shopping trolley took off in a sudden gust and so I nearly did too.

We have the proper rain now. It's dark, grey, raining , pretty blustery and only 15c. Generally unpleasant.

Really windy and very heavy showers.  Hope the forecast for the weekend is not correct when remnants of Hurricane Dennis is supposed to hit the south.

It's 15C, everything is dripping wet, but it has finally stopped raining and the wind has dropped to a gentle breeze.
Sadly there are more thunderstorms forecast for this afternoon *sigh*

 It's been lovely all day but this afternoon we had a very freak down pour for a few minutes, cat came in soaked and telling us all  about it

We had a couple of showers, this afternoon, but nothing to warrant a storm warning

We've got a warning for heavy rain this evening, can't be much heavier than what I listened to during the night.  I don't know who to believe about the weather for the weekend, one hand says it's going to get better and the other says worse as we are getting the tail end of the recent hurricane.  I'll just wait and see, would like to 'pot' up my fuschias and get them in the greenhouse for overwintering.
