Today it's mostly cloudy with the odd gap, for a sunny few minutes.
Still hot and muggy, but no longer scorchio!

Same again with (according to the forecast) some thunderstorms to add to the mix

Rain just easing off after a very wet night and morning - just over an inch of rain and definitely not scorchio any more (14C)

Our rain showed up around 4am. We've had enough to wash the sand off the car but it hasn't exactly poured down for hours we're also back down to 16c.

Couple of showers first thing this morning but since then it's been lovely and bright.  The clouds now though are getting a bit darker over 'wilf's mothers and the sky has that 'shiny look' that usually means rain. They have forecast it, but I'll believe it when I see it.

We are getting a substantial cool-down. For several days, highs in the 26 to 28 °C range, lows 16 °C or a bit warmer. Mostly dry, but Sunday could bring some rain, which would be very welcome.

Lovely and sunny again and 19C, with a slight breeze - just perfect for me

I forgot to mention our dog's reaction to the cool down. When the weather is hot, we are careful to walk him only in the morning before roads heat up. He still wants to keep walks short (understandable), and mostly acts like an older dog (he will be nine years old on Christ__s Day).  With our cool down, he is romping like a puppy!
