Lovely, sunny, but I've been hacking at the honeysuckle which is trying to take over the far end of the garden.  Chaos on the Island as the festival goers are arriving and all I can hear are sirens.

Got to 23.7c here but felt a lot warmer. I cut the front hedge today as, whisper it, it gives rain later on in the weekend...

The sky is hazy and it is 19C, and dead calm - forecast is for it to be a bit cooler today, fingers crossed. I've a lot to do in the garden, but it is mostly been to hot to do it

Hot and Sticky night, so far this morning it's 16c warm and sunny, very still and very quiet, feels like everyone is hiding indoors already

Promised rain has vanished from the forecast and it's set for a warm day but not scorchio except in the polytunnel.

It's sunny here but the breeze picked up at lunchtime.  Sitting in the van in Newport while Paul went to the bank  I saw some sights from the people going to the festival.  Paul's eyes nearly popped out when he saw a young lady with a fishnet see-through dress on over a lurex thong!

Reached 25.8c in the garden. Hopefully my very early trip to water the allotment has done the business until the forecast rain on Sunday

Another sticky night. This morning is low grey cloud, 15c, dead calm and very oppressive.   They've moved some of tomorrows rain up to today, so it could be a bit of a mixed bag.

Sky is very hazy today, so it's a lot cooler right now at 19C.
Forecast shows some thunderstorms moving our way, but any rain would be really welcome right now, with low water pressure and hosepipe bans announced

Warm here as well, no breeze but it feels 'odd'. There's no birds around and so no noise.   We've cut the lawns back and front so if it does rain, it doesn't matter.

Cracking thunderstorm last night, with heavy rain, it went on for ages.... that's what the weather gods think of the hosepipe ban announced here yesterday

Some distant thunder last night but only a bit of light rain. Supposed to be 18ºC and cloudy but it's bright sunshine and hot at the moment.

Looked outside and some strange collections a viscous substance at the side of the road. May need a closer inspection... Currently 19c in the back garden and more rain forecast for later this evening
